Nom Anor Costume WIP

Preliminary study for a costume project. The mysterious hooded character was only ever glimpsed in half light in the comic series Crimson Empire. I made this 1/6 model as a guide for the full-sized work to come.

Revisiting this passion project, I felt drawn to emblazon Nom Anor’s helmet dome with the seal of the Yuuzhan Vong.

Nom Anor Under the Hood Sketch. This element was always in shadow. Considering the nature of the character‘s mission I designed a helmet that would fit the race‘s biologically based technology and conceal the wearer‘s identity.

Nom Anor full size helmet in fiberglass. Dome will be used as buck for transparent vacuum form pull.
